Q. What are the minimum system requirements?

A: The Spartan Poker’s software has been designed to operate on almost all devices. The software is compatible on any Window PC/Laptop, MacBook, Android/iOS device with an internet connection.

Our desktop app has the following system requirements:

 

Windows Recommended Requirements

1. Windows 7 or higher

2. 1.3 GHz Pentium 4/Athlon 64 or faster CPU

3. At least 512 MB of RAM

4. Screen resolution of 1024x768 pixels

5. Broadband connection

6. At least 200 MB of free disk space

Windows Minimum Requirements

1.  Windows XP (please note that this version of Windows is no longer supported by Microsoft)

2. Pentium 4/Athlon 64 or faster CPU

3. At least 512 MB of RAM

4. Screen resolution of 800x600 pixels, up-to-date graphics drivers

5. Internet connection

6.  At least 200 MB of free disk space


Mac OS Recommended Requirements

1. Mac OS X 10.7 or higher

2.  At least 512 MB of RAM

3. Broadband connection

4. At least 100 MB of free disk space

Mac OS Minimum Requirements

1. Mac OS X 10.6

2. At least 512 MB of RAM

3. Internet connection

4. At least 100 MB of free disk space 

The Spartan Poker app is compatible with most Android & iOS devices.

 

Q. I went out for a while and returned back only to find out that I was logged out?

A: If a player is inactive for 15 minutes, the system will automatically logout the player for security reasons. To resume play, a player can simply login and continue.

 

Q. What happens if I am disconnected in the middle of a hand?

A: Disconnection can happen due to poor internet connectivity. If the network is restored back quickly, the system will automatically reconnect you and you can continue playing. If the network problem lasts longer, we have a disconnection protection policy to protect players. Disconnection Protection is a tool which protects our players if their internet connection is lost while they are involved in the game.

Please note, Disconnection Protection is presently available only on private tables.

Q. Game play on my mobile app is very slow. What to do?

A: We recommend a 3G/wifi internet connection for best gaming experience at The Spartan Poker.

We recommend the following settings in the mobile app for faster performance:

1. 'Login' to your Spartan account

2. Click on the three lines, which is at the top right side, second tab

3. Click on ‘Profile’

4. Click on ‘down arrow’, which is at the top left side

5. Click on ‘Performance’ and uncheck all the options except the last option (Show tables and tournaments icons)

Q. The client stopped responding in the middle of game. What to do?

A: If your Spartan client stops responding for more than a few seconds, you may follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Try restarting the app/client

If that does not help, follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Restart your PC/Laptop
  • Uninstall the Spartan app/software
  • Delete all cookies and cache
  • Reinstall the Spartan app/software
